Uwe Boll has a new video game and he’s “happy” with it

If it weren’t for various online sources, one wouldn’t know that the video above has anything to do with journalist-pummeling director Uwe Boll. Apparently, Boll is directing an upcoming war film titled 1968 Tunnel Rats, and the clip you’re watching is the FPS based on the movie.

Left 4 Dead demo is coming to Xbox 360, PC

Gabe Newell, Valve Software’s big cheese, told VideoGamer that Left 4 Dead will have a demo for the Xbox 360 and PC. According to Newell, the demo would “probably” include the Hospital level and would include online cooperative play, in addition to the single player component.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky gets delayed again in North America

They’ve done it again. Deep Silver announced that due to “a manufacturing problem,” S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky will hit retail stores in North America on September 15, 2008. Unfortunately, the digital download release date has not yet been determined.

If you’re paying attention to details like release dates, then it’s likely that you’ve been expecting European-developed S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky to hit store shelves any day now. System requirements for Mirror’s Edge released

The minimum system requirements for Mirror’s Edge, a first-person “action adventure” game, was released by EA during NVISION 08. Interestingly, the requirements are quite low for a new game that’s targeted to ship during Q4 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Call of Duty 4 online muliplayer is 10 million strong

According to Infinity Ward director of communications Robert Bowling (aka Fourzerotwo), Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s online multiplayer community is 10 million strong. This figure corresponds to the sum of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players. Unfortunately, Bowling made no mention of CoD4’s PC community and its contribution to the overall total.

Bioshock gets a release date for the PS3

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky goes gold, gets delayed

We have good news and bad news. First, the good: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky has finally gone gold. As for the bad—the PC exclusive is going to be released a week later than the originally announced date. From August 29, the Shadow of Chernobyl prequel is coming on September 5 instead.
