Rumors are running rampant about the next blockbuster from Bungie. There’s no question to the fact that there was gonna be another Halo. It was all just a matter of time. Well apparently that time has come? Sorta. Apparently there’s an “insider” who’s got the “scoop” that says Halo 3 is done! Microsoft is just waiting for the right time to give it to us. They’ll obviously want to maximize the hype (they’re very good at that) and then give it to us broken. And make us patch and update it over XBox Live.

Hah. I kid.
Put those tears away.

Hopefully they’ll finished what they started in Halo 2. What a hugely disappointing ending. My guess about the biggest “impact” date that they can release it? Probably the Playstation 3 launch. What better way to smash your competitor than to release the third installment of one of the most popular FPS shooters for a console. EvAr.

The big question…will Halo 3 only be built for XBox 360?

That would sure suck for the huge percentage of Halo fans who still have their first gen. XBoxes.

It’s funny, I never even got to the end of the single person campaign in Halo 2 because the online action is so much fun. I just got caught up in it! :)

By the way, if you want to meet up for some Halo 2 online you can find me under the Gamertag “GhostFaceBuddha.”

I think it’ll be 360 only for a long time. They may port it to the PC later like they’ve done with the others. But as for not making it compatible for the normal Xbox? That is a good point. And a clever tactic on their part.

I never got into the online play. I just didn’t care. I can’t stand playing FPS games on a console. I feel so limited lol.

Hehe, I used to feel that way too…I was an Unreal addict and I was much quicker on the keyboard and mouse than I ever was with a console, but I guess I’ve just gotten used to it now.

XBox Live is really fun, though…I find the AI from the Halo2 campaign is really nothing compared to playing against real people.

Flesh and blood is a lot less predictable ;)

Oh I totally agree. Real people are a lot more fun to shoot ;)
